Henley Districts Little Athletics encourages children aged 3 to Under 17 regardless of ability to strive to achieve their best in the full range of athletic events.  The emphasis is on fun, fitness, and improvement, not winning.  All events use equipment specifically designed to be appropriate to the size and ability of the child.  It is safe, fun and develops all round fitness.

The Mission of the South Australian Little Athletics Association as a voluntary community based organization is to:

“Develop children of all abilities by promoting positive attitudes and a healthy lifestyle through a family and community involvement in athletic related activities”

AGE GROUPS: Children born from 30th September 2006 until 1st October 1994 are eligible for our general little athletics program. Any child born from 30th September 2008 until 1st October 2006 is eligible for our popular Tiny Tots program.  A child must be 3 years of age before they can be accepted for membership, this is an insurance requirement.

Registration fees are payable to the club.  The majority of this fee is paid to the SA Little Athletics Association.  This allows SALAA to hold major events throughout the year, administer the association and insure all participating athletes.  The balance of the fees is used to administer our club.  This money is also used to upgrade and replace equipment and purchase trophies and medals at the conclusion of the season.
Compared to other centres and even other sports, we believe this represents excellent value for money.
